Family Visitation Services
These services are designed to facilitate the development of assets required for independent living.
This program was specifically designed to provide asset-centered human development services by:
•Developing independent living skills
•Improving self-concept/self-esteem
•Facilitating positive youth development, and
•Improving social/life skills
The PRI-Family Visitation Center provides supervised family interaction and enrichment activities for children in foster care and their families. This family visitation center is for children in care and under court order in divorce and separation cases. This community-based visitation center is designed with a working parent’s schedule in mind. They increase the frequency and quality of interactions between parents and children and their siblings. Services are designed to establish or sustain parent-child and sibling relations, and to facilitate the achievement of case-plan goals.
Domestic Conflict/Anger Management Program
GOAL:
To reduce the incidence of drug abuse and/or ungovernable behaviors within the family, through a growth group experience and intervention strategies, designed to rebuild or construct a healthier child/parent relationship.

An Overview of the Curriculum
Purpose and Goals:
The purpose of this training program is to help improve services to preadolescents, adolescents and their families. Its goals are, to increase understanding of adolescent growth and development, and to help strengthen the skills of individuals who work with youth programs.
Items of Interest
Based on recent data from the Child Welfare League of America, within 2-4 years of leaving foster care:

Only ½ of all youth completed high school Less than 'Ii became employed

1/4 became homeless for at least 1 night

30% are without health care

60% of young women have given birth

Less than 1 in 5 is completely self supporting

9-30% of adult homeless spent time in foster care 25,000 "age out" annually

19% spend time in prison
In the ongoing effort to secure funds for programs and services, PRI has developed books, greeting cards and plays as fundraising opportunities. In addition to these efforts PRI also offers travel opportunities through global travel international for hotels, auto rental, etc. Contribution to these efforts could be tax deductible in addition these travel opportunities may contribute to your organizations fundraising efforts.
